Research and Procurement opportunities
From time to time the Council will advertise research and procurement opportunities for research or consultancy projects that are funded by the Council (through the EPA). Please see below for any opportunities that are currently available for quotation or tender.
The Council, through the EPA, adheres to EU 2014/24 – EU Procurement Directive which sets out to create a level playing field for all businesses across Europe and sets out minimum harmonised public procurement rules.
The thresholds for procurement can be split into 3 categories, according to the projected spend during the term of the contract;
Quotation Process = Spend between €5,000 - €50,000 (ex VAT);
National Tender Process = Spend between €50,000 - €215,000 (ex VAT);
EU Tender Process = Spend greater than €215,000 (ex VAT).
Example of the standard Terms and Conditions (Services) contract (NOTE: to be agreed during negotiation): Terms and Conditions (Services)
All clarifications to quotations will be posted to this page under the relevant headings.
